march 17 is  St. Patricks day and last year ive learned that green is the color or St. Pattys day so in honor to that my threw back Thursday will be featuring green outfits , and to start with i will be featuring my arizona apple green shorts from JCP.

i love green for its not hard to mix it with other colors. so heres how i mixed colors and styled this green denim  shorts.

inspiration photo & recreation Wednesday guy..

i love the inspiration photo from a random blogs surfing. green-blue combo, i tried the emerald green but its too much green so i settled with my blue-green top instead.

i recreated outfits in different ways: copying the entire outfit , or just the color combo, or  just the style.

DIY yellow dress

DIY; yellow dress

i learned hoe to sew when i was 11 yo. and since then time to time i sew anything sometimes i did well sometimes i ruin the material but thats how success is measured right its not how you succeed in the first try but how you accept the failure and tried to get back in your feet and move forward..

2 sundays ago me & hubby went to joanns to buy materials for my little project we find a pattern and i decided to buy it ,i found a perfect material for the dress and its yellow ..lol..

material: 2 yard of cloth, 22’ zipper

first step. cutting the pattern

after cutting all the pieces place it on top of the bad side of the cloth folded on the center, secure it a pins, follow the edges but cloth marking pen & cut it.follow the same procedure for the back bodice & skirt.

the front as you can see i draw for darts and secure it with pins, so it will easy for me to sew it evenly.

the back bodies, with zipper on place, i always use running stitch when putting the zipper,you can pins.

after  the upper bodice its time to work with the skirt, here i used pins to secure the pleats and to make it more stable after i put the pins in place i sew them in a machine.

after all the pieces ready its time to assemble them under the machine,.

first sew the zipper, (upper bodice & the skirt)

2nd sew all the darts

3rd sew the upper bodice and skirt together,make sure that you have even line  where the upper bodice& skirt are sewn together if not the dress will look funny.

4th sew all the edges make sure that the  front & back waist line are in line.

5th sew the hem with 1’ allowance

6th the hardest part lol.. the neck line & the sleeves. what i did was i cut some remaining cloth ” vias” to secure the neck line & sleeves edges.

and walllaaahhhh heres my dress.. and because i am petite i still ahve some cloth so i made  a mini skirt as well.

pompeii movie date

its movie date, we been planning to watch the Pompeii 2 weeks ago but we end up shopping , and last saturday finally we made it. well sometimes unplanned activities are better than planned right..

last saturday were just hanging out in the house after hubby fixed some plumbing issues in the kitchen and he decided to fix the sink as well but  he needed some stuff to do it, so we went to home depot and since the movie theater is just  a mile away  we decided to watch a  movie anyway,and were glad we did , Pompeii is a very nice movie, heart breaking&annoying at the same time,it  also shows that money cant buy everything love or  salvation…

happy sunday guys… im up early today… so I might as well make some posting in social media..

I wore this last sunday for church, last year I bought red version of this jumpsuit and last month I saw this peplum color and I fall in love  in an instant..

i love this skirt and im supposed to wear it for church last Sunday with a button down long sleeve shirt but hubby said leopard print is not good for church for it has a ” sexy” connotation that goes with leopard prints so i changed it to an eggplant jumpsuit ( tomorrows post).. anyway being always in love with my new stuff and cant wait to wear them although i have different outfit in mind to wear for my GYNE appointment last Monday  i changed my mind and wear the skater skirt instead, but with different top i don’t want to be hassled by unbuttoning the shirt.

 BOC leopard shoes ( im  not a flats fan but because  i know im going to remove the shoes for the PE table so slip on shoes is the most convenient choice).. the reason why i dont want to give it away because there are times that i need to wear flats too.
